What SoulWhisp Is

SoulWhisp is an AI-powered listener designed to provide a safe, anonymous space to say what's on your mind. Think of it as a practice conversation.

It helps you:

  • Get things off your chest
  • Untangle what you're feeling through gentle questions (never advice)
  • Find your own words for what you're going through
  • Build confidence to have the real conversation when you're ready β€” with a counsellor, a friend, a helpline, or anyone you trust

It's available 24/7 for when human connection feels out of reach or when you need to practise before reaching out for real.

What SoulWhisp Is NOT

SoulWhisp is not:

  • A replacement for licensed mental health professionals
  • A crisis intervention service
  • A medical or diagnostic tool
  • Qualified to provide therapy, counselling, or medical advice
  • Able to prescribe medication or treatment plans
  • An emergency response service
  • A substitute for real human connection

The goal of SoulWhisp is to help you feel ready for what comes next β€” not to replace the people and services that can truly help.

Limitations of AI

SoulWhisp is built on real listening principles from years of volunteer crisis work. But it is still an AI system with inherent limitations. It cannot:

  • Fully understand the complexity of your experience
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Contact anyone on your behalf
  • Track your location or identify you
  • Remember previous conversations

It does its best to listen well β€” but a real person will always understand you more deeply. SoulWhisp is for when that real person isn't available yet, or when you need to practise what you want to say first.

When to Seek Professional Help

SoulWhisp is a starting point, not an endpoint. Please reach out to a professional if you're experiencing:

  • Thoughts of self-harm or suicide
  • Distress that's making it hard to get through daily life
  • Substance abuse that feels out of control
  • Trauma that won't let go
  • Anything that feels too heavy to carry with a practice conversation alone

You don't need to have the β€œright” words or a clear explanation. A professional will meet you where you are β€” and if you've been practising here, you might find it easier to start that conversation than you think.

No Liability

By using SoulWhisp, you acknowledge that you use the service at your own risk. SoulWhisp and its operators are not liable for any outcomes resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to mental health crises, emergencies, or any other adverse situations.

SoulWhisp is a practice space for reflection, not professional care. Always seek qualified help for serious concerns.
